Thank you for visiting my campaign site for the upcoming election of your next Village of Maple Park President. The election is just a few short months away on April 6, 2021.
My name is Suzanne Fahnestock, and I am seeking your support to be the next Village President. My family and I have been residents of the Village for eighteen years. As long-time residents of the Village, I have always appreciated the appeal of Maple Park to families, community events and organizations, and the local businesses. We have so much to be thankful for and it is important that we preserve this unique place we call home through planning and leadership. As your next Village President, I have the vision, experience, education, and most importantly the passion to serve the community.
As the next Village President I am committed to
- Work with the residents, local businesses, organizations, churches, government officials, and regional partners to be sure that the Village is always represented and engaged.
- Work for infrastructure improvements including our water, waste water, roads, and storm water.
- Create a vision and strategic plan for the Village that will act as a guide for our decisions.
- Maintain fiscal responsibility and a balanced budget.
Preserving the charm and character that makes the Village a great place to live, work, and play.
That is why I am running for Village of Maple Park President.

Suzanne Fahnestock Elected Maple Park Village President
The April 6th Consolidated Election Day results are in and Suzanne Fahnestock received 195 votes for Village President while her opponent received 64 votes.
Village President Elect Suzanne Fahnestock will be sworn in on May 4th.
I would like to thank everyone that came out and voted for me yesterday. I am humbled by your support. I know we all love Maple Park. We are proud to call Maple Park home. I look forward to working with all Trustees, staff, residents, and businesses to keep Maple Park grounded in its history while upgrading, renewing and building a strong foundation for its future. I would also like to thank our current Village President Kathy Curtis for all of her hard work and dedication throughout her 12 years as President and 4 years as Village Trustee.
